I had to modify the front pipe to fit, it was bent weird. Exhaust is also rusty already

I bought this exhaust "new" and I get a pile of poorly packaged, rusted, dented, scratched and very evidently used piece of scrap metal... The only quality looking part of this exhaust was the stainless tip (which had a quarter size dent in it....) refunded.

I'd have given it 5 stars, but the clamp for the tip was worthless. Like. Completely. Totally. Worthless.Installation was a breeze. Did it on the ground by myself with simple hand tools. I love the sound. Tiny bit of drone at low RPMs, not at all loud.I'll have to find time to weld the tip on as the clamp no workie workie.For clarity's sake, let me say, the two band clamps that attach the muffler...No issues there! I wouldn't hesitate to buy this kit again.

Best price by far that you will find for any single side mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust! Fast shipping and great quality. This kit came with quality clamps too and a perfect fit to the factory downpipes on my 02 GMC Sierra with the 5.3l vortec engine. The sound of the ultra flow welded muffler is exactly what I wanted and gives you a deep sound under load with minimal drone and a nice sound at idle. 5 star all around

Installed this on a 2000 Silverado extended cab. Let me start by saying i did a ton of shopping around online, and for the price and being stainless i figured i would give this exhaust a shot. Am i glad i did! First this is a way more quality set up then whatever brand/style was previously on my truck. Once we got the old exhaust off, (that was a pain in the rear) the install literally took 15 minutes with the help of a friend. I was really impressed with the band clamps it came with. They are so easy to use and such an upgrade, i doubt i will ever use another "regular" exhaust clamp again. Sound is subjective to each individual, but to me the exhaust sound isn't too extreme. It will not (shouldn't) wake up the neighbors, but it does have a nice low end growl and a little bark when you first start it up. I didn't notice any drone, and could barely hear the exhaust at highway speeds. You will definitely hear it if you stomp on it. To me this is what a truck should sound like. For the price, quality, sound, and 2 day shipping I doubt you will find a better deal. Add in it's stainless and will most likely outlast the rest of the truck, and you have a winner.

Installed this on my 2007 classic Silverado 1500. I was more than pleased with the packaging and the shipping speed. This system is built exceptionally well and fit perfectly. Initially I was concerned it would not be loud enough fory tastes, I'm used to driving a 96 blazer with a 4.3 with a jba catback and highflow cat, it's loud! The dynomax sounded just as good and I'd but this on just about anything.

I put this catback kit on a 99 Silverado 3-door extended cab w/ 5.3L V8. Installation was very very easy. The center and tail pipe are bent perfectly. There are two hangars close together on the aft end of the tail pipe but my truck only uses one of them. I guess the other one is for other year models. I really like the clamps that come with this exhaust. They are a whole lot better than the typical horseshoe clamps that most exhausts have; they don't leak at all. I would prefer the exhaust came with the conical end on the hangars but the hangars are a good fit and I haven't had any problems with the exhaust staying put. The only part of the exhaust that is polished is the end of the tailpipe in case you were wondering.The muffler is smaller and shorter than the stock muffler and sits further forward with this kit. It is a 2000 scfm muffler with a straight through design. You can literally look in one side and see out the other. The muffler is round and has a perforated straight pipe running down the center. It has roving fiberglass between the pipe and the outer shell. The welds are really good and it has the Dynomax name large and deeply stamped into the stainless. The center pipe and tail pipe tubes are two different sizes so you can only put it in one way.It is much louder and deeper than the stock exhaust when accelerating. I get a deep rumble when starting the truck. Sounds the same as stock when coasting. I actually prefer the quiet stock exhaust but my truck enthusiast friends say it finally sounds like a truck.I bought this when the price was $198 and was the best price for a completely stainless catback exhaust on the net. This same exhaust sells for cheaper than the current Amazon price if you do a little looking. Price still isn't bad considering the lifetime warranty.
