Wire rope should be the same diameter as rope clip.
Consists of a U-shaped bolt, a forged saddle and two nuts.
The two layers of wire rope are placed in the U-bolt and clamped into place for a tight connection.

I replaced cotton clothesline rope with plastic covered steel rope. Steel rope worked perfect and these clips couldn’t be better.

What size sockets do you use to tighten them??? Wouldn't a trusted, reliable manufacturer put the info on the website or the packaging? I find some use 7mm, some 9/32. Some were in between!I had several snap while tightening.

I used these for a unique installation of some high tensile fence on the farm. They worked great, but I don't know what long term will be like. I wanted to be able to take them back apart if need be, so these should do just fine. I'm a big fan of stainless steel.

These are exactly as described. Work well. Tolerated being tightened with force. Note the nuts are close enough they could block a socket from engaging the other not unless you have it turned so a flat surface and not a point is facing the other nut. But this is due to the small size and not specifically a design flaw.

It was suggested that I use these to secure extra shelving in my display cases. As the picture shows, it was the perfect way to go for the convenience and safety of the glass shelving. They were easy to use and they fit perfectly. I have used them in the past as they were intended, to form end loops in cable, but you are only limited by your imagination in how helpful these cable ties can be.

Bought as a kit for close line. I was skeptical at best. They are tiny. And I've had issues with stainless before. I installed on a 30 foot close line and I'm amazed. No issues. After 3 months.
