I placed it on the door jam facing down with the reflector on the driveway so that if the car fender got within an inch and a half or so the light would turn on and fill the interior of the car with light. This works a lot better than having a beeper. I also used striped black and yellow reflector tape for the reflector instead of the plastic ones because I didn’t want to car to her to roll over it. It comes with a sticky back.

Hello All, It's Steve@HobbyADHD With Another Review!This product is a good little medium range sensor at a quarter the price of the name-brand version.Construction: Well constructed and well sealed with all the hardware included.Fit: Everything lines up nicely.Usability: This has been a great addition to my prop work as it is easy to integrate and goes off without a hitch.Issues: The Chinese lettering on the sensor needs to be translated.Pros: Excellent range.Goes off reliably.Easy to wire once you have the English instructions.Great value.Cons: Chinese lettering (Not a big deal)I would recommend this product. It served me very well in multiple places at the haunted house I work for. It is a bit difficult to set-up due to the Chinese lettering, but a quick Google search will sort that out.
