NOT WHAT THE PICTURE IS. This item does NOT have metal reel fasteners like the picture looked like at the time of purchase. The product is a split cork handle with plastic reel fastener. It said ultralight but mine came in as ML action. As for the product use, I will post at a later time. Already disappointed in this product. We will see if it fishes well.

This is a great feather light fishing rod, very flexible with great sensitivity, caught several 3 1/2 to 4 pounders on it so far with no issues whatsoever, casts are effortless and long, highly recommend for white bass and pan fishing

Great pole but the reel seat is different than what’s pictured. It’s pictured as the old eagle claw. Still a very good pole

These poles are great! I had my first eagle claw featherlight for around four years before the tip got broken by someone stepping on it. I have it paired a slab seeker reel and 6 lb test and it has held up to catch crappie,bluegill,bass and even brought in a 12 lb channel cat. Very durable rod for being such light action.

the rod itself is fine but the photo does not make what i received, i got a rod with a split handle and a plastic reel seat, the photo shops a metal seat and a full handle, maybe i should talk to a lawyer to see about false advertising there is a lot of this going on at this site !!!!

Great glass rod. It’s not high end , but well made for the price, sensitive and light. Very durable. I’ve used these for certain applications for years and have never been disappointed.

For the price, this is a fantastic rod for crappie and pan fish. It is light and "flippy" with sufficient backbone to pull crappie out of the brush piles they like to live in. It is an old school fiberglass rod with stainless eyes so it is relatively maintenance free and you don't have the ceramic eye inserts that tend to come loose on inexpensive rods. It even has a ruler printed on the shaft right above the handle to measure your catch. Don't let the price fool you into thinking this is a lower end rod. No, it is not a high modulus graphite rod. It is, however light and sensitive. Pair this with some high-vis mono on a light spinning reel and you won't miss a fish. With the fast tip, you can set the hook and not worry about ripping it out of the fish's mouth and there is sufficient backbone to pull it into the boat with ease. If you're in the market for a crappie rod, get this one.
