I had to drill two holes in the rear bumper of my John Deere Z515e zero turn to mount this. I also had to get longer bolts (I used Grade 8 automotive bolts from my local hardware store) as the included bolts were not quite long enough to get a nut on due to the thickness of the bumper tube. It was very easy to drill the holes and do the installation. I like the pin being strongly magnetic. It would probably stay in place even if you forgot to install the cotter pin. I have no doubt that the heavy steel of the hitch will hold up for the life of the mower. Given how much less expensive this hitch is vs. the branded JD hitch, it was well worth the small effort of drilling two mounting holes and picking up a couple of longer bolts.

This hitch fit perfectly on my Cub Cadet RZT S zero-turn tractor using the original hardware. I added washers simply because I had them. Heavier gauge steel and better design than the original CC hitch and cost half as much! The magnetic handle pin is strong and so much easier to use. Should have replaced the old hitch years ago.

This hitch fit great on my Gravely Pro Turn 260. I put a ball on it so that I can pull my small garden trailer. Nice that it is shaped so that it does not catch anything (like chain link fences).

Got this to install on my gravely zt hd 48 to haul wood and rocks around with a little dump trailer and easily managed to handle pulling couple hundred pounds of rocks, only downside was none of the nuts matched the bolts supplied so I had to go to the hardware store to get matching nuts
