Works perfectly. You should buy this one. Its cute and soft and serves its purpose. I’m a side sleeper and got my helix pierced. I knew I wouldn’t survive without sleeping on my side so I purchased this pillow and its amazing. I love it a lot. Makes me want to get more piercings now

I am one of those sleepers who never moves. I could ease my way into tucked in covers, sleep through the night, ease my way out in the morning and you'd never know I was in there other than the impression of my head on the pillow. So, not a big surprise that my aging sleep-side ear got a 'thing' that was diagnosed as CNH. ::sigh:: So, I forced myself to sleep in thirds: first on the CNH side, then my back, then the other side. Worked for a while, other than the ear with the CNH not getting any better.When I woke up with pain in my helix during the third of the night I sleep on my non-CNH side, I realized I needed to find a CNH pillow that will keep the helix off my actual pillow. Thus began the hunt.I decided to go with a small pillow with the center hole that I can place on top of my regular very comfortable pillow instead of buying a series of expensive pillows with one or two holes in them that will restrict the way I position myself to read when laying on one side or the other.I decided to give this pillow a try and will be keeping it. I need to keep my helix (that cartilage at the very top of the pinna [the 'flap' of the outer ear) off the pillow, and this pillow does that. When I turn over, I can just reposition it so it is under my other ear.There are essentially two covers over the loose filling of this pillow. The filling is stuffed inside a plain white donut-shaped case with a short zipper which enables the user to add or remove stuffing. The outer case (I got the cute cow spots) unzips almost all the ways around. Because of having to go through the middle of the 'donut hole', it cannot be removed. That means, when washing it, you have to put the entire pillow into the washer and dryer: it is machine washable in cold water, delicate cycle, then machine dry cool on delicate, or air dry). I'm fine with that. Because I can't be without the pillow, I'm getting a second one in case I can't get this one washed and dried the same day.As with so many pillows shipped by mail, when this arrived it was flat as a pancake with all the air sucked out of the plastic sealed bag it was in. I took it out and massaged the heck out of it. I noticed in two areas, opposite one another, that the filling was less than there was in the rest of the pillow. Massaging it helped move the stuffing to fill those light areas. I then unzipped the outer cover as far as it would go, did some more massaging, and left the pillow to sit for a 3-4 hours until it was time for bed. At that point, I zipped it up and used it...and it was fine. There are still two 'light' areas, but they absolutely do not bother me when I am using it. When I get up in the morning, I give it another massage and set it aside till I got to bed that night.The seaming is good - no missing or loose stitches or holes that I've seen. The zipper moves easily. I like that it is covered by a flap of the material so that I don't feel it if I lay my hand against it when sleeping. The zipper seems sturdy enough.The fabric is soft and almost fur-like (which fits with the cow print). There are no tags on the pillow or in the packaging that gives the fabric content of the outer cover, inner cover, or the pillow stuffing. If you are allergic to polyester, don't get this unless you will be putting it into a zippered case made with a non-poly fabric. If you use satin or silk pillowcases to protect your hair or skin, you can put this into a small pillow case made with that type of fabric. If you have big, loose pillowcases on your regular bed pillows, I supposed you can try slipping it in and use it that way, but it might be difficult or wake you up too much to move it from side to side in there when you turn over.The pillow when fluffed up with about 3" from top (where your head goes) to bottom (that lays on your pillow), with the donut hole being about 1.5". The overall width is about 10".If you normally do not use a pillow when sleeping, or use a small neckroll, this should be fine for you. Placed on top of the regular pillow, depending on how high your pillow is, it may be too high or just right. For me, with my memory-foam-core foam pillow, this is almost a little too high when I first get into bed, but once I start reading, it settles down a bit so that by the time I fall asleep, I don't even know it's there, it's that comfortable.PS: Since I have been using this, my CNH helix has been given a break since it is no longer mashed into the pillow much of the night, and has actually started to heal, and my other helix no longer hurts, which means I won't get CNH there. Yay!

This pillow is really helping my ears heal much faster. I was on the fence about buying it, because I felt like the price was kinda high, but I’m SO glad that I did. I highly recommend it for new piercings. I’m ready to get more ear piercings now that I know I can sleep comfortably

I recently got my lobe, tragus and helix re- pierced. My ears have been so sore lately. I was tired of propping my head against my wrist, since I am a side sleeper. My wrist was going numb and I kept waking up throughout a night. With this pillow, I can sleep comfortably without hurting my ears. The thickness is just fine, and I like that it’s adjustable too. The size is perfect that it’s easy to transport as well. Another wonderful purchase!

Great size and price. It does work for keeping pressure off my new helix piercing while sleeping. I don’t think it’s very comfortable though it’s just a bit too firm so my neck gets stiff sometimes when I wake up from it.

This has been a lifesaver! I've been piercing my ears a lot this year and this makes it possible for me to sleep! It's comfortable and doesn't hurt my face.

I've had this for about 6 months or so now, it works really good, I use it because of all my ear piercings. The thickness is wonderful, and it's plush and soft!

I got my daith pierced and caught it on my towel so it's been pretty painful. Piercer recommended a travel pillow bit I found this and it's a life saver for sure. Quality is very good. The filling is alot so if you need lead you can remove some which is awesome. Size is perfect to put your ear right in and sleep peacefully. Had no odor that I could notice like alot of pillows have. Definitely helped relieve pain of sleeping on my piercing thank God. 😊 the price on this I feel was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone with ear piercings. Worked perfectly for me.
