The recommended planting zone for Earth Science wildflower mixes is highlighted on the map above in yellow. This is based on the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone map which is the standard to determine which plants are most likely to thrive at a location.
These are recommendations and are not hard, fast rules. If you choose to try Earth Science wildflower mix in a zone not specifically recommended, you will need to take extra care to make sure the wildflowers grow.
Rake Area
Rake area to remove dead grass and debris. Seeds grow best when they have direct contact with the soil.
Apply Evenly
Uniformly apply wildflower mix so the area is mostly covered, but bare ground is still visible.
Tip:
Plant when daytime air temperatures are consistently above 60° so that the ground is warm enough for germination and there is no danger of frost at night.
Water
Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface and wildflower seed moist for the first 2 weeks. This is critical for your wildflower seed to germinate and thrive. When enough water has been applied, Earth Science’s patented Water Right Crystals will expand and sparkle. When the crystals disappear it’s time to water again.

This is 95% fertilizer. Very few seeds. Buy something else if you were looking for bulk. It’s marketed as 6lbs of wildflower seeds, it’s not. You’re better off buying the 99 cent boxes at Menards. They’re at least honest about what’s inside.

We decided to create a huge wildflower garden on a large portion of our 2+ acre yard. Although it took alot if hard labor to get the ground ready for dropping seeds, it came together and we are starting to see the first of the flowers sprouting. Looks like quality batch of seeds.

So far my flowers have not sprouted. I will reseed I think the rain washed a lot of my seed away.
