When your Kodiak's rear differential goes out there is no other option than to overhaul it. Get you an axle from Citric while your at it. The pinion and ring gear are hardened. This kit fix a trashed rear differential. I couldn't tell the mudd from the rust. It's a little work but we'll worth it.

I figured for sure there would be some incorrect parts or seals that didn't fit, but this entire kit worked and fit just as described. I was able to completely rebuild my leaky rear diff (aka final drive) with this kit. It even included the wheel bearings (which I didn't expect). It includes every single bearing and seal I found inside the differential. Even the pinion bearings (which I wasn't able to press out, but luckily that was one bearing that was fine on my old diff). The only thing it didn't include that would have been helpful was a flat gasket to mount the differential onto the swingarm. I used some a universal rubber gasket sheet to make that fairly easily though. If you're rebuilding your diff (which you probably are if buying this), I'd HIGHLY recommend getting a bearing driver set... it makes this process so much easier than trying to find a bunch of sockets/pipes to hammer in/out the bearings and seals with, and keeps you from destroying seals when hammering them into place. I'd also recommend looking up as many videos online as possible before doing this... they ARE out there, but I never found one that covered everything well, so I had to watch a few.
