My kids, 3 and 4.5 love these. You can make it really difficult or easier by using water. The more difficult the longer it keeps them busy. They love digging to see which dinosaur they get

These are great for dino loving kids but very messy !!! Put a plastic bag underneath when breaking them open with water 🙄

These are so great! My 4 and 5 year old could do these themselves and it kept them busy for a long time! They loved the excitement of seeing which dinosaur they got and hearing the interesting facts about each one! It is messy, so I reccomend doing this outside or spread out a cloth to catch all the dust.

I purchased these dinosaur eggs for an activity at my son’s dinosaur themed birthday party. They were a huge hit! Thankfully the weather was nice and they were able to “excavate” outside. These can get pretty messy, but that’s what makes them so fun. If using indoors, I would suggest a throw away tablecloth of trash bag underneath. The directions mentioned to wet them a little, but it wasn’t necessary for our crew. They were all super excited to see which dinosaur they had in their egg. Also included, are descriptions of each type of dinosaur, which only added to the fun! These eggs are a great addition to themed party or just a fun activity if learning about anything dinosaur related!

This toy was an absolute winner as party favours. They are messy, as anticipated. There are faster ways to dissolve the edges of the egg, but just using the brush and scraper that come with kept my child occupied for a long time. She was more excited about the process than the resulting toy. Be prepared by using a cookie sheet underneath and having a broom nearby.

I bought this for my niece (5) and nephew (4). They had a lot of fun with this activity but oh my…..it was messy! The clay like substance that the eggs were made of got everywhere and it wasn’t the easiest to clean up. It was a little hard for the 4 year old but the 5 year old didn’t struggle much with it. Would definitely recommend this product just prepare for the mess afterwards. We also noticed really odd spelling errors on the information card like the words “smaller” and “it” were spelled wrong…..
