This is not a bronze spool it’s just regular mild steel. And it cost me money return! Very disappointed

I purchased this item as what it was advertised as but when it was time to set up the welder (change gas, remove other type of wire, install silicon bronze wire) I did some test runs on some scrap steel. Could not achieve a decent weld. I used a grinder on the welds and found that it was NOT what I had understood it was. I then reviewed the page that I bought if from and no where on the page did it read that it was just copper plated steel wire. Just "Eastwood .023 2lb Mig Wire Spool Bronze Copper Welding Metal". That's it. I had assumed that of all companies Eastwood would know the difference between the two items. I assumed wrong. I would have not even rated it a one star
