This is a well built engine stand. With the engine properly mounted it spins the engine over nice with the crank lever. You can stop the engine at any point making it much easier to work on. I totally recommend this item.mo

Worm gear and main gear keyway had a lot of slack, creating a huge flop side to side on the engine. Had to shim the worm gear bearings and weld the main gear to the center shaft to remove the excess slack

The stand holds a duramax but only rotated about 45 degrees before gear failure. A duramax weight is 850 lbs with fluid and accessories such as heads water pump ect. Get a stand that manually rotates and get a 2000 lb. Now because of this I will be delayed even more time and time is money. I could have bought a manually operated one but wanted one that I, a disabled person could use and rotate with ease, not the case here. Big waste, now I have to unmount the block and send this one back before getting a refund and set the engine somewhere, possibly leading to damage, all at my expense. I already have 5000.00 in parts and another 2000.00 in tools. I am furious.

Nice product - wish they would use SAE vs Metric.

The stand showed up way earlier than I was informed which was nice but also a slight problem because the driver left it out by the street since it is heavy. Luckily I saw it while leaving so no harm no foul. The stand and the rotation feature are really nice. This stand is exactly like other but painted black but cost $$ less. It does fold for storage but lays flat on the wheels which takes up as much floor space as when unfolded for use. I am going to add a wheel so it will stand up folded though. There was only one problem which was the instructions were no the instructions for an engine stand. The cover of the instructions had a picture of the engine stand on them but when you opened it up they were for a body/chassis stand/roller. No problem really since it was easy to figure out how to put it together. After all if you are building an engine you should be able to put an engine stand together without instructions.

Currently using to build an iron block and head BIg block Chevy. One grease fitting need to be replaced but it appears to have been hit during packing or shipping. Solid unit with great build quality. Definitely recommend greasing the wheels as it's assembled.
