No suggestions or instructions..very shallow..not much room for egg and water..I realize poached eggs are an chore in the microwave..but this wasn't a solution to the problem..back to the old method of boiling..perhaps these are designed more for egg mcmuffins rather than poaching..

I used to have one that I used for years. It mysteriously disappeared. I couldn't live without it, so I ordered this one. Just like my old one, it works perfectly. Love it!

This little cooker has turned out to be really capable. I'd decided to start using egg in my mid-morning biscuit that carries me until lunch. The first few times I used it, I sprayed it with Crisco butter flavored cooking spray, scrambled up one egg, and to get it completely cooked, zapped it for a minute in our microwave at work.Hmmmmmm. Not terribly nice. The egg curled up on the edges, and dried out a little. The color was kinda putrid looking, too. So, I figured that some experimentation was in order before giving up on it.I've come to the conclusion that to get a really nice result, you need to reduce the power percentage on the microwave, and add some time. The exact time is going to differ a bit, based on the volume of egg, so a smaller egg takes less time, a bigger egg needs more, and two eggs is going to take almost twice as long as one. I've lately started using two eggs (makes for a nice beefy biscuit). Two eggs at 50% in our work MW takes approx 2:15 minutes.If I mis-judge the time a little on the short side, and there's still be some liquid egg showing around the edges, I'll zap for an additional 10-15 seconds at full power to tidy that up. Doing the majority of the cooking at a reduced power level (I'm using 50% on our older, not-so-powerful MW) results in a more evenly cooked egg "patty". Zapping it at full power makes it curl up on the edges, but the lower power setting tends to smooth it all out and it results in more of a "hockey puck" shape with a MUCH better color.Using the Crisco Butter flavored spray makes cleanup an absolute breeze. Nothing sticks at all!100% recommended...

One egg comes out light and fluffy at one minute in the microwave. Two eggs do the same at 2 minutes. I had been using coffee mugs and other microwavable containers and the eggs would pop and make a mess. This is so much easier and the eggs are perfect. This is a great product.

I've been using this for about a month. Makes breakfast really easy - crack an egg, sprinkle salt, pepper, and anything else. Mix or leave it as it. I use a tiny bit of butter for flavor and tonward off sticking. I've found about 1 min & 10 seconds to be the perfect time. It's also still really easy to clean.

I like this product because it saves me time and does a pretty good job.You just need to learn to adjust the time for your particular microwave, so it doesn't overcook and make it dry.
