This is a safe and simple carrier that is easy to put on and take off. It carries your child comfortably on your hip so you can have hands free. This is very small and easy to have in a diaper bag or in your car so when you need it it is there.

Came in handy! And it’s more comfortable than I thought it would be!

This Yaoyuqian sling is lightweight and folds up compact. It is 3-1/4" wide for the fabric portion behind the adult's back. On the shoulder, it expands to 2 strips, each 1-1/2" wide with a mesh fabric sewn in the middle for breathability and comfort. The adjustable length mesh strap leading from the shoulder to the child seat is 2" wide and includes a quick release plastic latch. The child seat is formed like a pocket and approximately 10" side-to-side. The seat is 6" deep (front-to-back) in the center, narrowing to 3-1/2" at the edges. There is also a padded back support for the child with an adjustable length strap and quick release securing it to the main sling straps. This sling does not have leg straps for the child. It relies on the pocket shaped seat and back support as well as the adult's side to secure the child.

Great carrier but not super comfortable for long use. This is great for about 30ish minutes in my opinion.

Took a little while to figure out, way more difficult to get situated the first time than a normal wrap carrier. That said, once I got my little one settled and the sling properly on my frame, I am in love. This could have been resolved with better instructions being included, I felt silly opening my phone to figure it out.The weight stays on one shoulder and the little strap that goes around little one's back makes it so secure. Overall, I pick this over my hip seat carrier.

I was so excited for this sling carrier as my 9 month old loves to be held, but that can get very tiring very quickly. I have a hip carrier, but I wanted something that would support the back to be more “hands-free” without the hassle of a full carrier. Unfortunately, I couldn’t quite get this to work for me how I wanted. The shoulder strap is only lightly padded, so out of the gate, I knew it wasn’t going to be overly comfortable, but it does spread out at least to distribute the weight across your whole shoulder. The sling portion is I think maybe a little too minimalistic to provide the level of support I was looking for. I fiddled with the straps a bit, but overall, I never got things adjusted to a point where I didn’t feel like my son might slip out the front or fall backward if I wasn’t still supporting him with my arm. The back strap is a great idea, but in function, it just didn’t work right with my kid. I do think this product could bundle well with my hip carrier to maybe ease some of the weight/pressure, but I don’t think I’d rely on it solely, and I certainly wouldn’t use it “hands-free.”

This carrier is “meh” at best. I ordered it to use with my 25lb 2 year old grandson who frequently wants to be held a lot especially during meal prep for some reason. The instructions are minimal, but it’s pretty basic to use. Even after a lot of adjusting back and forth and repositioning, I could not get it to feel secure enough. It felt like he was constantly going to tip backwards and fall out (this is even in the mode with the strap across his back), so I didn’t feel like I could take my arm/hand off of him, which kind of defeats the purpose of the sling. I realize this carrier is much cheaper, but you’d be much better off safety-wise with one of the branded structured carriers with which you could be truly hands-free.

As somebody who has never used a sling before, This thing took me forever to figure out. There were not instructions on what goes where or how it's suppose to go. I had to keep staring at the pictures and eventually, my brain figured it out.The shoulder strapped hurt. There is no way I could use this more than likely 20 mintues without being in a lot of pain. It also felt like my child would fall out if my arm wasn't supporting them which kinda defeats the purpose of having a sling in the first place. I tightened it, loosened it and all of the above but it never felt 100% secure enough to go hands free.I did try this out with my 30lb toddler since the weight limit is 44 and it was a terrible experience for both of us.No matter how I positioned it or maneuvered it, the strap didn't lay the way it did in the picture, (perfectly on the shoulder.) Whenever I put it on the shoulder the way it is pictured, the kid was basically on my back and not at my side.It works wonderfully for a stuffed animal though. Maybe it wouldn't be too much if a pain. For a smaller baby? The only way for the kid to sit on the side while in the sling was if the sling strap was like an inch from digging into my neck. Which of course, it fairly uncomfortable after 20 mintues or so.
