Easy open,and close. Water tight for sure,I dropped it off a boat,and it took several minutes to retrieve it, it was floating with about a 3rd above water, and not a drop got in.

This package deal of 30 and 50 cal ammo is worth the buck. Well made metal ammo cans that even comes with dry packs. Rubber seal perfectly seals out any moisture. Cover lid is easy to remove when at the range, and quick to install when packing up. Prefer these metal cans over the plastic when looking at longevity. These cans will not warp or become brittle as the plastic ones will. Well made and durable. Good for life, or at least for me. Haven't thrown one away yet. If it starts to rust, all you need to do is sand off the rust and repaint it, good as new.
