I needed a replacement fan for an old Makerbot Replicator 2 and this looked like it would work fine, and it did. The connector plugged in easily and it is all set up.I didn't end up using the heat sink, which is held on with double sided foam tape, so I am not sure how well that part works, but the fan did the trick for me.

These are great replacments for the failed fain on a large hot-plate that I use to melt solder. It fit right in place, very powerful, mych more airflow then the old fan. They work great to keep the device from overheating.

Needed them for my stereo which the sound would get interfered because of how small the heat sinks were. This fan help alot to dissipate heat from my source.

I don't know why I expected it to be bigger, knowing the dimensions, but they are very small. About the size of a wedding ring case. It is a perfect size for what I need it for, but i haven't had a chance to hook them up yet. Waiting on a couple more 4" fans, to run parallel with these.... only time will tell if they work good enough!

They worked great on my stepper motors on my 3d printer. A little on the loud side, getting nocta to solve that issue.

In my setup, I attached two of these to the hot and cold sides of a TEC1-12706 peltier chip. They're the exact size for the job. Here's some notes I have:-silicone eliminates need for messy thermal paste (although maybe increases thermal resistance slightly)-the fan works below 4VDC, they are a bit noisy at 12VDC-as a VERY rough estimate, at 9V, the thermal resistance is ~.2 K/W (EDIT: probably closer to 1 K/W-very good price

Does what it says it will do. Can get loud at max draw (5A). I paired it with a thermoelectric peltier module (TEC 12706) and it works well if kept at around 2-3A. If I give it all the amps it wants, the peltier unit gets too hot and the fan cannot keep up matching heat dissipation. My guess is it was around 6A maximum draw.

It's not really hard to make something like that, buta) there is absolutely no documentation how you "should" put fan and heat sink together; not even on their web siteb) no direction indicator on the fan how the wind will blow; at least the one I tried out blows in the opposite direction if installed as shown in the pictures - which means cold air would be sucked into the heatsink cooling the edges more than the center.....c) reversing polarity means it does not work at alloverall rather disappointed. Maybe next time I take something for half the price, then price and quality will match betteron "funny" side note - on the package it's advertised as 4 premium fans, even though it contains only 2 as described in the product description. The package also promises the conductive pad is pre-applied. Looks to me like the simply re-used their pictures from another product :D
