I want it to work... Although properly installed, and the physical buttons work, the wifi could never finish setting up. I have other devices from the same manufacturer that are working. This now makes the second smart switch from Eaton that has stopped working or never worked in the first place. Support is slow and not provided after hours.

Two stars, because while I received two bad units, clearly marked with an X or a red sticker, both worked fine without the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, I bought it for the Wi-Fi capabilities, and even if I didn’t, the constant flashing of the air light is highly distracting, so I had to return them. Sadly, seeing as how these units have been installed in someone else’s home before mine, some other poor people will end up getting them and be stuck in the same boat after at least one hour of wasted time.For those of you who do get them, they will most likely be flashing green, unlike the instructions which say they should be flashing pink. You will need to hold the power button up for 30 or more seconds until the light flashes red. At that point, you can let go of the button, then it will flash pink. Only then, can you double tap the up button to start the pairing process. At that point in time, you will see the Wi-Fi networks, but it will fail to connect to any of them.

All Sellers of this item should stop selling this product. Eton Knows this item is defective. It has a bad WiFi Firmware program that will not connect to their BL control App/ program, rendering the item useless. Their solution is for the buyer to keep returning and keep reordering this fan controller switch until they get one that works. This is a waste of time, money and resources for both buyer and seller.
