You adjust the speed with a integrated full-slide control for easy and precise adjacent. It has a green LED light that softly illuminates when the device is on, acting as a night light. Some other features include Radio Frequency Interference filtering for radio, audio, and video equipment, electrostatic discharge protection, and also power failure memory. Normally EATON products are fine, but in this case, nope. When changing fan speeds, there is visible arcing within the switch (one can see the flashes) and a burning plastic smell. Rather than burn my house down, I opted to return the switch.

These spark and short, then stop working. Definitely astrong electrical smell for something dying inside. Put in a dozen of these, all bad.

This fan controller arcs and is a danger to burning your house down. Do not buy.

Switch as 3 positions which may not always be set. So if in between positions, fan turns off.

It still advertises as having a green LED indicator light. IT DOES NOT !! I thought they would have changed it by now.
