Aquatic planting containers to help hold plants in place - perfect for our planned-for pond. We will be putting in a new pond this spring, and I look forward to using these.

The pot isn’t the most solid, but it does what it needs to do. Good for the price, especially if you’re just looking for something simple.

LIKES: large enough volume to put a few small plants or one large water plant, mesh holds clay/sand soil, allows me to use water plants in containers and then transport them indoors for winter. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I am growing lotus plants in my classroom during the winter to transport them outdoors in the warmer weather. These baskets let me grow them, move them, and then move them again when needed. They are just the right size for me because they are big enough for plenty of soil, but small enough to still make it convenient to move seasonally. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. These bags give me so many more options for growing water plants in smaller, seasonal containers. I have a friend that has a koi pond and these would also work perfectly in that type of pond especially if you are just starting. These mesh bags are cost effective for planting many water plants in pond systems.

These are are great and I feel like they won't hold a bunch of debris like regular planters

These are good containers for aquatic plants in my pond. They let the water and nutrients go into all areas of the of the roots instead of just through the top, like regular plant pots. They are a little flimsier than regular pots which can make it a little hard to move around with the plants and medium inside them.

These are perfect to plant water plant tubers if you don't want to plant them in a man/woman made pond's substrata. I made handles out of long zip ties to make it easier to move them; for instance, if the Lily isn't getting enough sun in that part of the pond or until they have established a decent root system. The mesh is fine enough that planting media designed for water gardens does not fall through.
