I'm 53Been my own mechanic all my life. Also for many years turn wrenchs as a side job. That said EBC makes the best performing pads on the market for the money. Only down side, sometimes they can make a squealing noise, due to high pitch vibration. This is easy resolved using CRC disk brake quieting. The noise isn't in every application, bit sometimes. I use the CRC on every job no matter the application or product. I put EBC on all I own. Also I like using the Stop shop here on Amazon. I never get the wrong parts from them, I have from others. I hope this review helps someone.

I love ebc brakes. I ran out of time and had to get some wagners from the store i couldnt wait to change them back to ebc, considering they didnt even last 1/3 of what i get from ebc. I put 30-32,000 (a lot of city) on the 1 set i bought

They are pretty good pads but they squeak a lot

I bought these for my 02 dodge ram 1500 quad cab 4x4. 4.7L v8..... these brakes work great and saved me from hitting a deer. I was doing 40 mph when it jumped out at night, my other brakes would have never stopped me in time like these did. That being said, i was told on a forum that they dont produce as much brake dust but that isn't true, its about the same as others. All in all it works great and is worth the money, im 3,000 miles in and id say i can get about 8,000 in total out of these

I originally bought these from reading positive reviews from others use of this product. I have since bought them again because I like the performance and wear characteristics.

I ordered these EBC and have used them on 5 cars in the past; excellent wear, and very good stopping performance for a heavy SUV.
