Lightweight, lots of straps and great zippers! I was impressed with the storage space and easy accessibility to gear. Shoulder and waist straps are durable and easy to adjust. 7 day hunt and I'm hard on my gear. Great product. Would certainly buy again.

At first I was very disappointed with the size, then I started unclipping and zipping the various expansions.Woow this thing carries a ton of gear. Very well built. I definitely suggest the rack to maximize your load options..

Be advised that if you purchase this pack and have an older Eberlestock pack, you will need to purchase a set of replacement buckles to make it work with an older pack. The buckles are not the same size. I purchased this pack bag to go with an Eberlestock meat hauling frame. It is very light and should be perfect for this application.

I use an Eberlestock Mainframe for eastern whitetail hunting because it is a beast at hauling both tree stands and meat. I bought the Vapor 2500 so I could use this as a pack as well. I know that Eberlestock primarily builds western hunting systems, but there is a huge missed opportunity to make this have a top loading zipper. On stand, the only way to access the inside is through a front loading pouch, which is just a terrible idea. If they could have built this like a Mystery Ranch Pintler with a 3 way zip, it would have been a slam dunk.More missed opportunities:1) Make the male compression straps removable. They are unnecessary and clank against the Mainframe buckles. I'm going to cut them off, which is a shame, because I don't want to permanently alter the bag. They don't do a good job of compressing anyway, because they don't wrap the bag (see Pintler). You end up using the Mainframe ones and leaving the stock ones clipped in place.2) Make the outside pouch unzip from both side. In a tree stand this is critical because you cannot always pick which side you bag hangs from.3) Put the water bottle holders in FRONT of the compression straps, not under them. You cannot compress the pack and insert/remove water bottles at the same time, which means you cannot keep it in a smaller compressed form by default.
