It works good for the most part, but when adjusting the bars, it doesn’t work perfectly - and there is still room for improvement on these. I was able to make it work just adding a tie down though.

This is solid bike rack, well built. Did not bounce when traveling. It has a keyed locked on the hitch pin, and for the center bike supports to deter theft. I good buy.

Purchased “new” but has clearly been used/returned. Foam protection is torn. Large scratches and scuffs on metal pieces. Nearly every piece was bubble wrapped but have various dings and chips.

We have been in the hunt for a heavy duty bike rack for our Radrover fat tire bikes for a while. They weigh about 80lbs each. Our bikes test the limits of size and weight recommendations on this rack. This bike rack is solid. Once the bikes are snugged down, they do not move. There are key locks on both center, padded, hook holds. Also, there is a key lock on the pin on the hitch to secure the entire rack to your rig. It has a tipping function, so we tipped the hitch forward with the bikes loaded to see how difficult it would be to use this with a hatch car, and it was easy. Really awesome feature for travelers that need to get their gear or suitcases out of a hatch. It takes about an hour to assemble, and the directions are clear. You will need 17 mm (11/16”) and 19mm (3/4”) sockets. This is a great price for a beefy bike rack that can handle heavy fat tire bikes. I would not hesitate to whole heartedly recommend this rack.

This is a good, solid, heavy duty bike rack. The build quality seems to be fantastic. The design is very well done where you can easily secure most size of bicycles. This bike rack also has two very cool features. The first one is it’s nice that you can lock the bikes down in case you need to leave them unattended for a minute. The second nice feature is that this bike rack comes with a locking hitch pin that also has an anti-rattle device. All in all this bike rack is well-made with great features at a decent price.

I researched my butt off and found this item to be best for us. Others are much heavier and our bikes aren't that heavy, and don't have huge tires. Hubby put it together within one hour. Does NOT stick out on sides of Toyota 4 runner. Locks are perfect for hitch and stabilizing bars, which are adjustable. I drove around the driveway and slight bounce but we feel it's secure. Many adjustable parts for sizing. FYI men's bike goes where longer curved stabilizer bar is, and women's bike with shorter curved stabilizer bar. Sticks out from back of car approximately 4 feet, so careful while driving. Great hinge mechanism for loading, storing or opening my trunk door which lifts up. This item had only like 3 or 4 reviews but all were great, unlike other products which had hundreds of reviews but mixed opinions. I thank God for leading me to the best one for us !

We purchased this as it said it was for use with eBikes. Technically it is however if the bike you have is a "Step Through" you will have to purchase an adapter because the post that has the locking mechanism doesn't have enough slots lower on the post to lock it securely in place. We did not read the fine print and rather than purchasing the adapter my husband modified it so that we can move the post down. Obviously not recommended. Wish that it came with it rather than purchasing separately.
