I was specifically looking for something thin and slippery to wear under another item that goes to the floor with a long slit. The satin skirt allows the outer layer to drape nicely and so it doesn't cling to or accentuate my butt, and it doesn't add any bulk. The color was as shown, and it's perfect. I would never wear it without something over it because it is very thin and shows every flaw, seam, bump, etc. If you are looking for a more substantial garment, you should expect to pay more. This skirt has a nice zipper set in the seam and 1-1/2" set-in waistband. I'm 5-3 and he length was ankle-length. I was glad I didn't have to hem it. I felt the quality and the price was reasonable.
