Definitely not for everybody, but if your attention to detail is as paramount as mine when it comes to botany, then this is definitely going to be your new best friend. I can rely on accurate reading every time. Durable and easy to use.

Good quality, but should say in description to purchase some ionized water to mix the calibration solutions into when setting it up for the first time. The best (pro) for me is- this monitor allows ph monitoring in already mixed brown garden tea ..whereas color changing solutions only work on clear water.

I’ve got a 50-gallon freshwater tank with filters, air pumps, and a chiller. My setup has been stable, but regular water testing was tedious. This monitor changed that completely.Setup and calibration took just a few minutes. The hardest part was deciding where to mount it. Wi-Fi setup was simple too. Just make sure you’re using a 2.4GHz network and that your Wi-Fi password doesn’t contain special symbols. The in-water sensors give continuous readings of pH, temperature, TDS, and salinity, all viewable from my phone over Wi-Fi. I no longer need to use manual test kits, which will save me a lot in the long run. The device also looks clean and professional; I mounted the monitor behind the tank and it adds to the overall setup. The real value is in the alerts. If TDS or salinity rises or pH jumps, I know something's off like a dead fish, blocked filter, or bio-load issue, I can address it before algae or other problems set in.It does exactly what it says and works reliably. The only thing I’d add for freshwater use is a CO2 or O2 sensor, but that’s a minor wish. Highly recommended for anyone serious about maintaining their aquarium.
