The novelty of this is great. It brings me a lot of joy. I don't know what my pets are graduating from, perhaps from humiliating experiences. It is well made and pretty cute as all small things tend to be. The material it is made from is all good quality. You could easily change tassel color yourself, I think (see picture of gold ring closure).The hat is not really suitable for a cat. The size was okay, and it did stay on our outdoor cat long enough to get some pictures. After a minute it didn't bother her TOO much, but I wanted to put the strap in FRONT of her ears, and if I did, it popped right off. See pictures. She looks unhappy though she has one of those unhappy cat faces 100% of the time. There is an adjuster for sizing though the strap has enough tension on its own. The plastic adjuster piece is probably a bit big and bulky under a smaller animal's head. It is not shown on the images with hamsters.I could definitely see some kids who like to play pretend with their dolls and stuffed animals using this hat.I need help wrangling this thing onto a chicken so once I get a willing stooge to help me I will report back on how it works for chickens.

These are adorable! I got them for my friend's graduation party for her two cats. She has a large and a small cat, and I'm not sure if it will fit the bigger one to be honest, but it's still a cute decoration. I love how tiny they are!
