Night and day difference in my Prius with 150k miles. The car rides 1-2” higher now after settling. Once these were installed, the difference in ride quality was astounding. I didn’t realize how bad my original suspension was performing. My center console had been shaking so bad that if there was a cup in there, the drink would spill. Between the front and rear suspension, I feel like I’m driving a new car. I initially thought the issue was with my tires but the new suspension literally changed how my car rides and handles. Well worth the money.

After 210,000 miles I replaced my worn front struts and coil springs today. Went for a test drive and they worked great. No more noises. The car feels new again. The ride is great. All mounting points were torqued to specifications.

I bought these because they had fast shipping and were cheap & I use my vehicle for work, big mistake. I’m a mechanic, I’ve replaced at least 15 sets of struts this year, these are by far the worst, these are worse than the ones I replaced and the old ones had 300k miles on them. The right strut is worse than the left but both have scraping and banging noise, vibration, extreme strut noise and vibrate violently upon braking which has caused my brand new rotors to warp. My car is unsafe to drive at this point & now I’ll have to buy a new set of struts, new rotors and do the work all over again & lose money from work. Don’t ignore my review if you buy these you’ll be sorry.

First off, I want to comment on one of the negative reviews I saw. These struts do fit a standard 2010-2015 Toyota Prius with trim levels from 2 to 5. They should not be confused with the struts that you would need for a Prius V (see picture of the car they fit). I mounted these on a 2013 Prius with just under 210,000 miles. Fortunately, I live in an area where my vehicle has not been exposed to road salt so the bolts came off relatively easily and everything fit in place and the ride is so much better. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there to show you the installation process. You do need to remove the wipers and cowling to access the three strut bolts. Also, it is recommended that you get in an alignment after doing the struts. In the end, I think it’s a good value and I’m pleased with my purchase.
