If you’re replacing your module for your fan, it’s recommended that you replace the motor as well. I’m glad I did because now my 2001 Dodge Durango operates the fan on all speeds.

I've replaced my Durango's fan three times already. I kept burning out the air control thingy that measures if the fan is on low or high. First fan just died and the replacement ones were drawing too many amps.this one is working perfect. It is not easy to replace but when you have done it on a few Dodge vehicles, well, you learn to replace it easily and quickly. I had a Dakota with same issue.Watch a HOW-TO video on YouTube to see how to replace it.Make sure you get the Fan and the Air controller module that goes with this fan. OH, you may have to cut and put in new wire harness too. Easy to do if you do ONE Wire at a time I've replaced that part at least THREE times because fan drew too much amps.good luck and enjoy circulating air.

You will most likely require a BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR KIT w/ this unit as well. Running this motor on any other speed EXCEPT HIGH WILL BURN/MELT RESISTOR PLUG at motor unit. This is ONLY A 1 SPEED MOTOR & requires the resistor to regulate speeds. Motor is GREAT . I WOULD VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOTOR UNIT.

After two days of screaming "That's not what it looks like!" and "Why are there five screws when you say eight?' and " I removed that brace and it still won't bloody come out!" at my Dodge factory repair manual, I now have a functioning heater instead of an anti-freeze steam room.The new blower fit perfectly, and is a bit quieter than the old one. Top-notch product at a great price. You have my highest recommendation!
