Maybe for other types of helmets for warmth but not the Sena Helmet

Bought a pair of these for installing comms (Fodsports M1-S Pro) on a half helmet. Worked well and met my expectations. The ability to Velcro them to the Y-straps of the helmet was what sold me on them. The other offers on Amazon indicate that they would not work with Y-straps for half helmets. Could I make them work, maybe, but these already have the Velcro stitched to the pads and give you the other half of the Velcro to adhere to the straps. Yeah, they cost more...but they work.

They are way to thick for what I wanted. I just wanted a place to put speakers for a sena unit. Felt like wearing earmuffs in the summer.

This is a product that allows me to do what I wanted it to do. The tabs are stiff and fit between the shell and styrofoam as advertised. The velcro does attach well to the y strap and allow me to mount my Sena 20s to my Fulmer half.The pros low cost and effective solutiomThe cons unit isn't stable. It keeps wanting to move around when it's not on my noggin. You end up adjusting it several times a day if you are making stops where you take the helmet off.Great concept, close to perfect. Will be looking still for perfect.

Fit perfectly well on my half helmet to hook up a communications device. The pads include pockets for the headphones. As for boom mic, I had to cut a small hole to fit microphone through.Overall perfect fit to my half helmet and I could hook up my communications device to it.

Velcro glue won't hold to straps and dont line up. I'd give it zero stars if I could!

This isn't really a negative post. Just additional information.I bought it to replace the ear pads for my Snowboarding helmet. It fits into the side but does not have loops for the helmet to slip into so you would have to use the velcro or find some other way to secure it to the helmet.Pockets for speakers are a little small. I was able to fit the Chips speakers in there. Afterwards the helmet felt really big. This is pretty normal compared to the old SkullCandy ear pads.Only real issue I had was that the pads run long/tall. They are at least 1-2 inches longer than regular audio ear pads. Looks like I have Mustache Chops. If you want more coverage against the cold and possibly slip in some audio speakers, this is the product for you.

I purchased the Echo helmet ear pads and a very cheap Outlaw half- helmet from Leatherup.com ($29 bucks!) just to test out my audio on a new bike, thinking I could always upgrade later. The felt material on the inner side of the helmet chin strap as well as the thick strap design fit perfectly with the Echo ear pads to the extent that using the supplied velcrove strips was not needed- simply forcing the portion of the pads made to insert between the helmet liner and outer shell as well as the light adhesiveness of the velcrove on the pads against the inner chin strap made it a perfect fit- since the straps actually hold the ear pad against your ears when the helmet is on, and the velcrove is only to keep them from falling out when not wearing the helmet. I'm not usually a helmet wearer, but this combination made wearing this actually a pleasure in chilly weather. It is also much easier to hear the tunes at highway speeds. I'm not buying a "better" helmet or ear pads- in fact, when I decide on the audio set-up for my wife, I'm getting her the same Outlaw helmet- Echo ear pad combination.Paul M.Dayton, Ohio
