I ordered these candle sconces to replace larger ones with the same contemporary vibe. My electrician accidentally broke one of my two older ones when he knocked it off the wall, so I was really pleased when this beautiful new pair arrived. They are sleek and unique, and for now are gracing the walls of my dining room.No, I wouldn't describe this as rustic, but both the brushed wood grain on the metal and the glossy gold interior are really appealing. They are also very easy to mount with a single nail. I do wish the bracket on back was just a bit thinner so that the unit could be more flush with the wall. As it is there's a bit of a gap, but I doubt that guests are likely to notice.It would also be a plus if the tea light holder inside was mounted higher so that the candle light would be more visible. The mount is perfectly sized to fit the tea light, and it's "welded" to the bottom of the unit, so I get that this is what works in terms of design. The light reflects nicely off the gold interior, and provides a soft glow when the room is dark. I wasn't able to capture it because for the life of me I can't figure out how to attach downloaded videos that are even close to a minute long. I'm afraid you'll have to use your imagination and take my word for it that these sconces create nice mood lighting, albeit a bit dim.So far I've only used a regular tea light with a real flame, but like others I don't think this is the safest scenario. The wax liquefied almost instantly. Not only that, but it's a pain to have to reach up, take the unit off the wall, and blow it out. I just ordered flameless, remote tea lights which promise to have a long battery life. The batteries are also replaceable, so perfect!These beautiful sconces are a whole vibe. If you appreciate a contemporary look and would like to add a little style and ambience to the room, get yourself a pair of these.

I was disappointed in these when I received them because they did not look as I expected from the description and photos. I gave them a 3 star (average) rating after strongly considering a 2 star because of the price. I decided on the 3 star however because they are well made and had they been as described the price wouldn’t have seemed as out of line.As I said, the sconces are made well from a nice weight metal. They are described as “Rustic wood-textured exterior paired with a sleek gold interior”. They are not in the least wood “textured” as they are smooth metal with no texture at all. They are also not painted a wood grain, they have just left brush strokes in the paint which just looks sloppy. The gold interior is in no way “sleek”. It appears to have been painted over an uncleaned base and is grainy in places and has ripples, crackles and scratches.I will keep these because I can repaint them and use them but $49 is a lot to pay for something that you have to finish yourself before you can use it.

Easy to install--just a single nail in the back. They are metal, but have wood grain, which looks kind of cheap if you examine it closely, but it looks really nice when in dim light with a tealight in it. I've seen other options that have built-in LED lights that I prefer to this one, but it does exactly what it says.

Omg these are so pretty!They’re so pretty and give this modern 2025 meets artsy kind of vibe. The colors blend so well with most home decor and have a beautiful glow when you add candles to light them up. The size is perfect, not too big and not too small and have a nice weight to them.The candle pocket is secure and pretty deep so you can add a short or tall candle :)The quality is great and not created from the cheap material stuff. So worth it and add a pretty nice touch to your home! Hehe

The Eclipse metal wall sconces are beautiful, well made and a great value. They look much more expensive than they were. The sconces are made of metal but are not too heavy to hang easily and sturdily with the included hardware. They are the perfect size for a tea light to provide a beautiful reflective glow. The gold color inside of the sconces reflect the light from the candle, providing a warm glow. I would recommend the Eclipse wall sconces to anyone looking for a lovely bit of decor that is versatile for many different decor styles.I rely on the thoughtful reviews of other Amazon shoppers to help make purchase decisions. These candle sconces add such a nice touch to the wall—decorative even when unlit, but really come alive with a tea light inside.
