Arrived as promised, great price, easy to install and the motion sensor is great. As soon as I enter the garage the light comes on. Will be purchasing more for other rooms.

I've got a laundry space that is basically a dark little cubbyhole off the side of a hall and adding to the nuisance are a couple of steps down at the entry. I'd like a light to pop on and off on its own particularly to see those steps. I'm dealing with an existing switch location to use this and that is on a wall inside the cubbyhole in line with those steps.Installing this would be easier if the ground wire could also be connected to the neutral return. Maybe it can, but that is not specified as an option in the instructions. There is a ground, but it is a wire running in one side and out the other, which doesn't yield itself well to adding a wire with a wire nut. I did manage to get it attached well enough that the switch works, even after the difficulty of getting everything squeezed into the box.The light comes on promptly when motion is detected. It detects motion easily. Motion does have to be a foot or so past the wall for it to see, which is already past the start of the steps. However, it is still easier to stop and wave an arm than to find the switch, so it is still an improvement over the previous situation.Setting how long it stays on after motion is detected is not exact, but neither is guessing how long you'll want it to stay on between detections.

This motion sensor light switch offers fantastic value for its price. It truly delivers on the promise of hands-free lighting control, making everyday life so much more convenient and energy-efficient. The ability to detect presence and activate lights automatically means no more fumbling for switches in the dark, especially in high-traffic areas like bathrooms, closets, and garages. A huge advantage, and a key selling point for many, is that it requires no neutral wire, making it an ideal upgrade for older homes and offices where wiring might be a challenge. This thoughtful design allows for quick and easy replacement of existing switches. The flexibility to choose between Occupancy and Vacancy modes is brilliant. Occupancy mode is perfect for spaces where you want lights to come on and go off automatically, while Vacancy mode is excellent for rooms with sporadic motion or places where you might forget to turn off the lights, saving energy. Customization is another strong suit. You can fine-tune the switch's performance with adjustable time delays (from 15 seconds to 30 minutes), sensitivity levels (20% to 100%), and light level sensing (from dark to day). This level of control ensures the sensor performs exactly to your preferences and space requirements. It's a smart, efficient, and highly recommended addition to any home.

I recently installed this motion-sensing light switch, and I’m genuinely impressed with its functionality and thoughtful features and design. The unit itself is sleek and user-friendly, offering the flexibility of standalone power control via a push-button or automatic motion-sensing activation. It comes with its own switch plate, which adds a polished, professional look to the installation. Mounting the switch into the outlet box was straightforward and hassle-free, though it’s important to connect the grounding wire properly, as this model is designed for wiring without a neutral wire.I installed this switch in a stairwell adjacent to a busy hallway, and initially, the motion sensor was a bit too sensitive, triggering whenever someone passed by. To address this, I added a small shield to partially cover the PIR sensor, which helped limit accidental activation. I tested it multiple times to ensure it only activates when someone enters the stairwell, and with this adjustment, it now works perfectly for my needs. One of the standout features is the inclusion of three adjustment dials for sensitivity, time delay, and ambient light level (to prevent activation in bright conditions). These settings are a rare and valuable addition, as most PIR motion switches I’ve seen lack such customization. Having checked offerings at major hardware stores, I can confirm this level of control is uncommon. The price is another major selling point—at 40% less than the cheapest comparable option at big-box retailers, it’s an incredible value for the quality and features provided. This switch is a fantastic solution for anyone looking to add a motion-activated light without the complexity of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee integration. It’s a “pseudo-smart” switch that gets the job done efficiently and reliably. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking an affordable, customizable, and easy-to-install motion-sensing light switch for their home.P.S.: I do have smart motion sensors triggering smart bulbs in other areas. But I don't have a light switch anywhere near those implementations.
