Looks very well built, heavy duty. Haven't actually tried it yet. So far so good. None of that plastic crap.

I have a 5th wheel on my property that never moves but gets seasonal use. This pump inexpensively solved my effluent problem. Sewage doesn't run uphill so I buried a plastic 45 gal drum near the trailer effluent drain and put the pump in it. I then connected a 1 1/4" poly pipe from there to my septic tank inlet. It's been about 3 months and no complaints so far.

I recently purchased a home with yard drainage issues. The previous owner had installed a sump system in the basement of the home and had a trench dug in the backyard to collect excess rainwater. Also, 2 of the gutter downspouts were poorly designed and discharged into the backyard instead of being routed to the street. The entire yard was constantly wet and the Maple trees on the property appeared to be dead/dying. I considered French drain and catch basin solutions, but found them too costly. Instead, I dug a sump pit in the yard where the water first accumulates. I installed a catch basin (actually a plastic milk crate) and lined the pit with stone. I installed the RSE50M sewage pump into the basin and ran 130 feet of flexible discharge hose to the street/storm drain. While not the intended use for a sewage pump, the RSE50M passed leaves, stones and stick pieces without a hiccup. In the end, I pumped approximately 12-15,000 gallons of swamp water from my yard. I ran the pump for up to an hour at a time without any adverse effects. And now my yard is dry, my basement sump pit is empty and my Maple trees look amazing! So for a grand total of under $300, I saved my yard and possibly my foundation too. If the pump died today, I would've already gotten my money's worth from it. But it hasn't. It sits in a outdoor pit, unprotected from the elements and just keeps on working. Highly recommended.

Use this to pump our septic when needed. Have used it half a dozen times since we purchased and it's done the job well each time. Pumps fast, has no problem with the poop or the paper.Do's and don'ts of septic pumping:Do tie the cord off (so it's not pulling directly at the point it's wired into the body).Do wait until the unit is fully submerged before ever plugging in.Do unplug when sounds change dramatically or line starts to chug erratically (this is a sign your pump is trying to pump something it can't handle and can lead to burning up a motor/breaking a blade)Don't drain your tank completely. Leave atleast a few inches of muck. This shouldn't be a problem unless you are using a hose on the pump end but either way always leave a little of the slurry as to not disrupt the bacteria you've built (unless things have gone south, at that point consult a professional).Don't let the pump rest at the bottom of your septic - this is where the thick and larger things can lie and will either ruin your pump or take out the stuff that's helping your septic break down waste.Overall this pump has met our needs well, and for a good price. Will update if anything changes.

Look like we’ll built pumps. However, when I went to install them they only have 10’ power cords. Both the discription and the box says that they have 20’ cords. Had to improvise as I ordered 2 pumps and needed them to pass inspection.

So far so good everything was there cord was a little longer than what I would have ever needed thing might be like 50 ft long or something but anyway nice heavy duty. Just a little update it's been three months since I installed this pump and it is still working great. We are now in 2022 and I have Had zero problems with the pump still going strong. Update. 2/2/2024 still working perfectly

I ordered this pump because I needed a 20' cord, took it out of the box to install and it has a 10' cord. I guess somebody forgot the rule (measure twice cut once). I needed this pump so had to make due with what I was sent, any shorter and the cord would not have worked. When an item is advertised to have a 20' cord and it says on the box 20' cord then there is no excuse for it to be different. Next time I order a pump guess I will have to look at other manufacturers.Would be nice if anyone cared and tried to make this right but not a sound!

Sent the WRONG product and it seems to be a common issue. Ordered the one with automatic but got the manual - THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE AS OURS ISN'T WORKING AND WE WERE DEPENDING ON THIS ONE, having the wrong one means we will have to package it back up, send it back and all of that nonsense and still be without a working one, this is absolutely ridiculous - GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER and SEND PEOPLE THE RIGHT ITEMS.
