I have a 2004 Ford Ranger XLT. The gasket and filter fit just fine, however, the extended funnel on the bottom of the filter is too long and prevents the pan from sitting properly. I had to cut it off to get the pan to fit. Be prepared to do the same if you have a similar vehicle.

Dosent fit if u have a short pan instead of a deep one I have 99 ranger xlt usally I never give less than 5 on products , but I confirmed with them before purchase with them and they said it fit my ranger, I should’ve done a bit more research tho myself .. it does fit but there’s two ford ranger filters the one with a tube thing and the one thats flat but they both fit. only it’s the pan size that matters at the end . Well I already took everything off so I compromised since I was technically stuck and the auto store was a couple miles so I just decided too cutt the cylinder looking thingy off with a saw and it works like a charm!. Was ready to send it back before I saw my saw cutter and looked at my filter and light bulb came. Gonna update in a few months
