I've bought thousands of products on Amazon over the years and this is my first time writing a review. The product came with no instructions. I warmed my boat engine for 30 minutes to make the oil hot for easier pumping. I screwed the pump tightly to the oil dip stick slot. I started pumping and nothing seemed to happen at first, the product seemed defective. Then, after 5 minutes of pumping, oil suddenly started leaking out of the top of the pump onto my hands and I was burnt. Every time I pumped, oil would leak out of the top of the pump making a huge mess. Maybe my pump was defective, but if so the manufacturer might investigate product testing and quality assurance. As it stands the product is cheap and dangerous, do not buy it.

You might get the oil out, with a big mess. Pump seems to have no seal on shaft, oil everywhere

Used the pump for approx 30 seconds. After that I had oil spewing out of the hole the handle goes through with every single pump. Poor design, go buy a pump for your drill, a 4' section of garden hose, and 2 female garden hose ends and make one that not only is faster and less work, but also doesn't fail and get oil all over.

The product was OK. My husband used it to pump the oil out of a 26 ft boat motor every time he pumped it it kept leaking at the top where you pump the handle so don’t really recommend this.

Did not work. Had zero suction. Had to stop what I was doing and drive to a Marina Store across town so that I could finish my oil change on my boat. Huge pain in the butt. Do not take the chance on this pump.
