I like having the convenience of using this product specially on my projector slides when there's no one available to handle to help, but sometimes, it does not work. It would double step and sometimes froze, that I have to watch it all the time while I am playing my music.

As much as I like the Bluetooth page turners on my iPad there’s nothing like a tactile switch like this to make sure that the job is done

The pedals certainly make a PowerPoint slideshow go forward or backward. But it's utterly nerve-racking and distracting to use them. No matter what I do or how I try to modify the way I tap the pedal, or even put something under it to limit how far it goes down, it's impossible to tell or control whether it will advance the slides one at a time--like the @!#$%&* thing is supposed to--or whether it will skip forward by two slides or even three. I've tried everything and am sick of looking like an idiot because of this thing. It makes me miss overhead projectors.Don't buy. If they want to sell these, they need to first make them work properly.

I use PowerPoint presentations while teaching but also while leading music at church and clubs. This unit works great. It frees up my hand for the guitar. Let me warn you, it comes with no instructions so you have to figure out all on your own how to do the following:1) Plug its cable into the USB port of your computer - complicated step, I know.2) Wait a moment for your computer to recognize it - mine did in about 30 seconds.3) Start a PowerPoint show - hopefully you know how to do this, otherwise, the unit is useless.4) The big foot pedal marked "NEXT" advances the PowerPoint to the Next Slide - could be difficult to comprehend but it actually does it!5) The big foot pedal marked "Previous", well... that one moves it back a slide - hard stuff, I know. All kidding aside, it does exactly what it says it does, it advances the slides for hands free operation.Others suggested getting an extension cable, because the cable is about 6 feet long. I went ahead and splurged and spent another $4.00 for a 10 foot USB extension cable along with it here on Amazon. Plugged that into the computer and into the cable from the unit and it still worked great from 16 feet away.Nice little unit.

I play in a cover band and every now and then we do a live band karaoke style show where people come up and sing with the band. I, being the singer, usually hang back and play guitar or percussion and guide people who may not know the songs as well as they think they do.Since it's live band, having a karaoke style version of the lyrics doesn't make as much sense so I run a powerpoint presentation with the lyrics which I trigger with my foot while playing, this has been really helpful with that. It's really useful to have at my disposal.

Got my foot switch. Plugged it in, let it install. Fired up a PowerPoint presentation. Pressed the next switch. All good. Pressed the previous switch, nothing. Open up both pedals. Found a wire that went nowhere in the next switch. It should go to the empty terminal on the next slide switch. When connected there, previous works. Unacceptable for a switch that costs $72. There’s maybe $8 worth of parts in this thing. Now that I fixed it, it works as it should. Only would recommend if you have some electronics knowledge as there is clearly no quality control. I never write reviews but this shouldn’t happen. PS, the pedals are plastic, I’ve been looking for metal ones that will stand up to stage usage.Edit - Got a call from the president of the company. He said that most likely I got shipped a previously returned item. Offered to ship me a new one. Since I fixed the pedal, it works as it should. Overall, the pedal is well built and I would buy again. You know a company cares about it's product and customers if they take the time to resolve issues.

Hooked up to my computer - no drama - just plugged in to USB. Fired up PowerPoint - No installation! Left pedal goes back, right pedal goes forward. Wonderful: Perfect for puppet show music.
