My kiddo typically wears a size 6 and the xs fit perfectly with some growing room. The material of this sweater is super soft and cozy warm. My son was also happy about the deep pockets as well. I subtracted 1 star because the hood is oddly small for size. This is a bummer because having a fleece with a hood was one of the draws for me to this product. Overall, nice quality and my kiddo decided to keep it anyway.
