This jacket is perfect. It is just as I remember Eddie Bauer jackets when I used to buy them when they go on sale in the spring at their store here in Chicago.The price also helps a lot. It’s like going to the Eddie Bauer store near where I used to work.

Like the fit, warm enough for Alaska. I usually buy long coats but this fits especially well when driving and is warmer than some of my parkas

It fits me well at 1.87m height.It covers the back properly, the arms length well enough. The quality is top and it is very comfortable. It might seem a bit heavy, but when it's worn, you don't feel any weight.Top jacket. I am sad they don't sell in Europe anymore, I had to buy it from the US.

I bought one of these last month (12/2023) in BLACK, size XL, to upgrade an older (80's era) Eddie Bauer bomber I own.I like the cut of this style jacket, it being very much like a Carhart, but lighter in weight and warmer.I was also very pleased with a number of innovations this jacket offers over my old one--breast pockets, an inside pocket, a functional hood, wind/water-proof shell, ethically sourced down fill--and I even like the color.Having said that, though, this jacket has one MAJOR FLAW which may result in my returning it.For whatever reason, on this and other similar jackets in their parka line, Eddie Bauer decided to use strips of VELCRO on the storm flap and side pockets, instead of snaps. The significance of this being the jacket has "cuffed" type sleeves, and whenever I access the side pockets, or reach across the front of the jacket (while it's unzipped), the cuffs snag right into the "hook" halves of the Velcro. Every single time.Annoying, yes. Not a big deal, NO.Every time the cuffs are snagged and pulled free, fibers in the material are destroyed. Do this 6 or 8 times and they start to fray. And yes, the damage is permanent. That's how Velcro works. Not sure how this escaped the attention of their QC people.Overall, the jacket fits me fine and is great looking. A perfect upgrade for my old one. But, despite all the innovations, I can't give it more than 3 stars. Or even a thumbs-up. Sorry.

I bought this for my husband because he likes the bomber style jacket and needed something warm. Every down coat I have ever bought is very lightweight but not this one. He says he will wear it but I don’t know how long. It would also be nice if the whole hood would detach, not just the fur.

I liked its quality. It is a little heavy, but it keeps you very warm and has a very solid structure. I would definitely recommend it.

Nothing negative to say here. Order your normal size. I'm 5'7". 190 lbs. Large fits me perfect. Not too short. around waist. Extremely comfortable and warm. Waterproof as well. High quality. Recommend.
