Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifolds are dual-plane, low-rise intake manifolds with a 180 degree firing order and patented runner design. This patented design greatly improves torque over a wide RPM range for excellent throttle response, especially off-idle through the mid-range. The intake manifold directs the air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. The flow typically proceeds from the throttle body into a chamber called the plenum, which in turn feeds individual tubes, called runners, leading to each intake port. The Performers are ideal for passenger cars, trucks and RVs. This dual bolt pattern water neck fits both automotive and marine applications.

I used it to convert a 93 Jimmy from problematic CPI EFI to a Carb. it worked very well! I used an adaptor to install one " 3 two barrel" set up, which worked well.

Swapped from the cast iron Mercury marine manifold to this and saw no noticeable gains. So edelbrock is lying on saying it’s making 18 hp more then stock 4 barrel as I even have the correct carb and jetting they used on the dyno.

I bought this manifold to do a 4bbl conversion on a Mercruiser 4.3L (Chevy V-6) 2bbl (175hp) marine engine. The water outlet is drilled and tapped for both marine and automotive applications. My research shows that folks believe the power is substantially increased (18-50hp) and fuel consumption is lower when used with the Weber or Edelbrock 1409 marine carburetor (600cfm). The quality and finish is excellent and Edelbrock offers all of the accompanying parts for it such as a stud kit for the carburetor flange (8008), flange gasket (7209), etc. All in all very pleased with this part and I'm sure it'll deliver the additional power and fuel economy that others have reported.
