Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Performer-Link True Rolling Timing Chain Set is used with either performance or stock cams. This set has a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. The crank gears are machined and made from billet SAE-1144 steel and induction heat-treated. The cam sprockets are made from 35, 000 PSI tensile strength cast iron. It has three keyways to ensure accurate timing for early or late-model vehicles, and allows to set cam timing 4 degrees advanced, 4 degrees retarded, or stock. The Performer-Link timing sets are not for use above 6, 500 RPM. Thrust bearing, offset bushings, gaskets, bolts and studs are not included.

Used this on a roller cam NON-BALANCE SHAFT 4.3L in a GMC Typhoon and it worked out great. It's a single roller timing chain and looks just like the one in the picture.

According to Edelbrock and Cloyes technical support experts;this timing chain and gears were never intended to be used on engines with cam shaft balance systems. Once again the Amazon parts locating system has failed to make the proper recommendation to me. This added additional downtime to a vehicle restore job.If you order here be sure you attempt to install your part very soon because the return policy is only 90 days.
