Comfortable seat good fit and finish. Replaced my beloved Necky Chatham 16. Can't wait to get out on the water

For reference I'm 162 cm / 5'4Pros:1. It tracks really well. The skeg did seem to help with tracking but I haven't tested it in anything but calm waters yet so your mileage may vary.2. More storage space than most of the 10ft-12ft options I looked at. Mainly because few have forward storage at all and almost none had a skeg. You can forgo the Skeg for a conduit 13 if you want extra storage. The Conduit is also rudder ready but they do not come with one.3. Despite having read otherwise my hatches seem to seal well and I've had no water get in. I also stayed bone dry in the 50+ hours I've had it out so far.4. It's been very stable for me, at least in calm waters but I hear that the flat bottom can be an issue in coastal waters.Cons1. The seat just sucks. At least for the price. It's plastic and thin and it gets uncomfortable after several hours. There are aftermarket fixes for seats but at close to $1000 I expected better. It is entirely adjustable for back and leg support and so far that has been serviceable.2. The railings for attachments are the same problem as the seat. Plastic and just bad. Thankfully they're a cheaper replacement.3. The aft storage is hindered by the skeg, I expected this though and I can still fit about 30l-50l in dry bags spread out across several bags.4. It's slightly heavier than other kayaks around the same size due to the skeg, it's a trade off. I have to use small wheels and straps to transport it to a launching point. Especially when loaded.Riot used to be made in Canada IIRC but since its bankruptcy it's now under the ownership of a company called Kayak Distribution & they're now manufactured in Shanghai. Whether or not this matters is up to you but Perception and Wilderness have similarly priced options and they're made in South Carolina. The seat probably won't have to be replaced as quickly either.
