These are just as described. Heavy weight and durable. They have been run through the dishwasher several times and are still shiny and sharp with no scratches.

Anyone using words like flimsy or too comically small is not talking about this flatware. It's what came up when I searched Diner flatware, but it's way way nicer than diner (or neighborhood chain restaurant) flatware.Edit...The recipient of this gift says it's really nice, no sharp edges, and washes up like a dream.

In no way is this cutlery set "dollar store" quality! I bought these for the cottage and we actually prefer them to our home flatware set costing 4 x the price! Lol....you won't be disappointed with this set! Very sturdy and a good weight!
