These SUCK! Last night the deer ate the plants that were 6" away. And, yes, it was fully charged and functional. Don't waste your money. Also, it it supposed to emit a sound that the deer hear but you don't. They actually emit a buzz about every 20 seconds. Is that what it is supposed to do?? I thought that I would not hear a sound but the deer would. These are not effective, they are a waste of money, and the people who purchase them are being lied to. Anything for a buck I guess.

It Didn't Work! Installed as instructed in my plant pots, and the next morning, my marigolds were lying half-eaten on the ground outside the pots!
