My wife loves to kayak but hates to use the storage system in the garage. She has trouble sliding the darn thing out and getting it off the hooks.I set this up outside with a tarp over the top and she can get the kayak off this easily and back onto easier. She loves it. It makes it easier for her to use her kayak. Set up was a piece of cake and it's very stable.

I actually got this mainly for my SUPs during the summer, but I think it might work for at least one of my two kayaks during the winter, too. It took me as long to unpack the very well-protected components as it did to assemble the whole rack. Everything fit perfectly, and it went together without a hitch. The materials appear to be extremely high-quality, right down to the large adjustable-height feet. The assembly instructions are very minimal with illustrations only, but they are more than adequate.Once I got it put together, this rack is super sturdy. The feet are easy to adjust to level it. I have it tilted back just slightly to give the SUP just that much more support. The design is superb. The only shortcoming I can see is that the distance between the support arms might not be enough for me to get one of my clunky kayaks between them. If the designers had just added about 6-8” to the uprights and a few more adjustment holes, this rack would probably be a lot more universally applicable. It does the job just fine for me, though.

I bought these on a Prime Day, it seemed like a good price and I was tired of leaving our kayaks and paddleboards on the grass along side our house. These stands look great, easy to assemble and do a great job of not killing the grass. Less insects crawling inside the sit-in kayaks too, due to the elevation.
