Ordered this and it arrived broken. I sent it back for replacement and the seller replaced it with another. The second one was usable for a month before it too broke. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

I was so looking forward to this because we had one when I was growing up but it doesn’t work on Jumbo eggs which we use. Had to return it in it’s orginal packaging. The circle on the egg doesn’t go down far enough onto the egg to be able to grip it and slice the egg top off. It doesn’t work on Jumbo eggs.

Reviews tell the story with this, cheap cheap cheap! I expect this to break completely by the 10th egg it tries to "cut". It doesn't work well new out of the box and gets worse with each egg. Keep searching for another.

I had an identical cutter for many years, until a spring inside gave out. I was so happy to see one just the same on Amazon.I have tried using it several times since I received it. So has my husband. We are totally disappointed . While the teeth do move in an and out the cutting motion crushes the shell…not a neat slice.

I purchased this stainless steel product to replace an identical one that was made ffrom plastic. Unfortunately the plastic one eventually broke. I highly recommend this stainless steel one as it feels very solid and workslike a charm.

Works better than two other kinds i tried. Only thing is it holds water in the rim so tap it out.
