The pros: it looks like it’s solid wood, whatever material it might be made out of. Also, I really like it hold 18 eggs. I wish I could find one that holds 24, but 18 is good. Cons: the color of the wood definitely does not match the picture at all. It’s almost black. Not sure if the stain applied was just left to set too long or what, but I do wish it had more of a wood-grain look instead of how it looks. Also, I wish the holes for the eggs were just a little bit more form-fitting to the eggs, BUT it might be made this way to help keep the eggs in place better, which is understandable. Otherwise, it seems to be a great product!

The product description only says it is wood, the seller has not specify which kind of wood. Being an experienced Amazonian, when I firstly touch this egg holder, I am pretty sure that it is real walnut wood, the most favourite wood I like. The egg holder is heavy in weight. I like it very much. Although the refrigerator always has plastic egg holder installed on the door, it is not as beautiful as this walnut wood.
