FAQ for the HKDQ Egg Incubator:
Q: Why is "Bottom Net" not flat
A: The hatching grid is not flat, and the center will be slightly recessed to facilitate the placement of eggs. In the early stage of hatching eggs, please take out the "Bottom Net" first. When the chicks are out of the shell, take out the roller to replace the "Bottom Net". "Bottom Net" and scroll wheel cannot be used at the same time.
Q: How do I know if it is turning my eggs?
A: The tray can be easily seen from the transparent side of the incubator. Also press "+" to test the gashapon function. "Turning Time" on the screen will show the time of the next egg turning.
You can also test by marking the eggs and periodically checking whether the marked side is moving.
Q: Why is the temperature of the incubator different from the thermometer?
A: Due to external factors such as environmental temperature, the actual temperature may vary by ±0.5°C, but it does not affect the hatching of eggs. Our incubator has a manual calibration function, you can refer to the manual to set the perfect temperature.
Q: Can the multi-layer incubator be used alone?
A: You can use only one layer or two layers. You can also use three layers at the same time, freely assemble to fit the eggs you need to hatch.

Incomplete and unclear instructions. There is no place to plug in the egg rollers.It’s a piece of crap! I am 10 days into incubation, and it completely stopped working.

Not very happy that this is my second purchase of this item and everything is in Chinese. I cant read what it says and the attachment for the water bottle is a foreign attachment. Where does one get a Chinese water bottle

*Editing to add we have a 100% hatch rate on the first go and the second batch is nearing the same hatch rate.I'm very happy with this incubator. The temperature and humidity read correctly as 1 layer, as 2 layers the humidity at the bottom reads higher than the built in gauge. The turner works perfectly. Battery backup came in handy a couple of times for us. We currently have 38 duck and 4 goose eggs in it, 18 eggs are hatching today. Next round of hatching will be quail eggs! My only complaints are I wish there were more rollers, I need to find more for my quail eggs, the wires hang inside a little funny so you need to figure out a way to run them so they don't disturb the eggs, and I can't seem to adjust the temperature but it's probably just user error on my part. Overall I'm very satisfied and have recommended this incubator to another farmer as well.

This thing is complete trash and let me tell y'all why, at least I'll vent my frustration here.1. Cheap thin plastic unit with FOAM cover for insulation :( [-5]2. Unit has 2 floors but the middle is not covered - temperature loss :( [-5]3. Water unit does nothing - needs to be manually opened and watered EVERY GOD DAMN TIME :( [-5]4. Eggs turn till they hit wall opposite sides of each other & get stuck :( [-5]Owner - If you're seeing this STOP selling this put-together-trash, leaves bad image for the professional grade products.

Not enough info provided with incubator on starting hatchery, like humidity how to keep unit within range, when to add water, assembly instructions poorly addressed, etc

Ok I have had 16 baby chicks hatch so far and more pipping, I kept squeezing water in and kept the humidity between 50 and 60, next go around I’m gonna lay a sponge down by the squeeze bottle holes so I won’t have to squeeze so much lol, I’m so pleased with this incubator! Couldn’t be happier right now, money well spent
