From my wife:This functions well, but it is VERY thin. It's also a little sharp on the handles. Dishwasher safe.I will share a story with you. We just got a new induction range. I knew the stove top would check to see if a pan/pot is induction friendly. The anser is YES, it is! MY mistake was putting it on the top empty to do the check! I blame the stove for not telling me to put water in it before testing it. Or, maybe it's common knowledge, I don't know. The crux of this tale is that the pan passed the test, BUT because I did the test EMPTY, the bottom of the pot turned purple.The pot is fine and still works, and my family is so happy with the poached eggs!!

An OK egg poacher. I got this for my boyfriend who uses it regularly to make us avacado toast for breakfast. He says the insert has sharp edges and is very thin. But it does its job. It makes poached eggs.
