Didn't fit the way I wanted. It scraps on the edge of the fenders when I close the hood.

The bug guard has a good appearance. I was hoping for a full stick-on, like the one I replaced. One of the mounting clips fell out and was lost, so I had to use high-strength Velcro in its place. That it is a bolt-on rather than a stick-on may make it more susceptible to cracking.

I have just received this today and inspected it very well. The plastic seems very well-designed. It's not thin in any places around curves. All the hardware comes with it and easy to follow directions. I have not been able to put it on yet because of the 18000 street of rain but hopefully this Sunday, I will put it on and I will update as soon as I can.

The mounting points did not align at all had to get a heat gun to soften the plastic so it could get close. The edges kept hitting my grill because it wasn't properly shaped to follow the round edges . The support clip on the tips kept hitting my headlights and the edges kept hitting my fenders. Tried shaving it off but kept hitting spent about an hour trying to make it work to no avail don't waste your money on this.

This review is on a 2013 RAM 1500 Laramie crew cab truck. The tricky part is the expanding screw clip/fasteners tht go in the existing holes under the hood. They will twist nd not take/expand rite unless u first put them on the visor with the screws in them nd hand tighten/twist the screws to expand the fasteners enuf tht whn u push thm into the hoods holes (with visor attached 2) ND CAN FIT, then expand nd tighten good with a twist or 2 of the phillips screw driver, the rest is fairly easy. Do utilize the scratch resistant adhesive strips whn u get to tht point nd on the front fender clips nd screws b sure to put the visor IN FRONT OF THE CLIPS nd tighten the 2 black headed screws on top of the visor nd not vise versa. Very nice nd very sturdy visor nd there r slots in it for centering it up on the truck. No worries, just a little tricky but worth it. Wuld suggest getting but will need patience nd dont drop/lose any parts/screws/pieces.

Good fit, aggressive look and exactly what I was looking for.Install can be a little tricky just make sure you follow tutorial on youtube or instructions. The nutsert slot must fit inside slot of hood protector, press firmly up and start tightening from slots closer to middle of hood.(DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN)Hood may seem harder to close, just lower hood to locked position and press down firm behind hood protector in the middle.

2019 Ram 1500 Classic. Looks good, fits good. I went with this one because of the matte black finish. Easy install. Note you have to remove the under hood weatherstripping to install this product.

Got to my door within 5 days from ordering, not bad for it not being a prime item. Don’t know why so many negative reviews. Mounted up in 15 minutes with my 8 year old daughter helping me fits perfect with no issues. I’m assuming the negative reviews are user error and inability to follow simple directions. Very satisfied with the purchase and can’t beat the price. As far as broken deflectors from closing the hood, I’d advise you do what you’re supposed to when closing a hood of any vehicle, gently let it down and then press firmly on hood where latch is located till it engages. Hmmm rocket science I tell ya. Buy this if you want a greatlooking matte hood deflector and can read and follow instructions while utilizing common sense. Cheers.
