I own a 2018 F150 and this item would just not fit. According to the description it should, but even following the manual and doing as instructed didn't work. Other than that I really liked the look of it

Don't order, impossible to install. Cannot return it without paying the freight which is expensive makes it not worth returning. Impossible task they instruct you to do is install 4 small "plastic screw clips" these go in loose sit loose in upside down holes and all 4 have to be orientated correctly, plus they want you to slide a friction fit a metal clip onto the painted surface of your hood, the paint "protected" by a tape strip. Paint damage will happen. Some products, like heart surgery, should not be sold on Amazon. If you still want one mine is as new, 1/2 price sale. Read the instructions before ordering. There is an instruction addendum to add rubber washers, sounds like an attempt to stop the reported cracking.

I reviewed a lot and I'm glad I made this purchase. It looks great and goes well with the matte finish on my F-150. I like this style because it sits just a bit off the hood and appears that it will truly deflect the wind. Other brands adhere directly flush to the edge of the hood, but don't look like they'll deflect the wind (bugs, rain, road debris). Some of the reviews made me a bit nervous and I expected I would have to buy different hardware to attach it. I liked the looks of this one enough that I was willing to do that, but didn't need to. The hardware that was included worked well and the deflector seems sturdy and well-attached. I have no worries about it falling off or not being durable. The installation instructions that were included are not so great. I had a little bit of trouble installing it with those instructions. I watched about a half hour of YouTube clips and they helped a lot. What worked for me was to loosely assemble all the hardware. This gave me a vision of how it got put together. Also, note that there are two different, although similar-looking types of screws. The pointy screws secure to the plastic tabs that expand and hold the deflector onto the hood. There are two non-pointy machine screws that attach to the clips that secure to the ends of the deflector. The EGR emblem is adhered to the deflector with what looks like adhesive tape. I like the look of the emblem, but I don't think it will stay on for too long. Still, even without it, the deflector looks much better than other ones. Overall, I feel I made the right purchase. I love how this looks.

The bug shield is reasonably priced and looks good on my F-150. However, the supplied clips that attach the shield tabs to underside of hood swim in the holes; even with the screws tightened down the clips easily pull out. The installation is made difficult since these clips also easily fall out during installation procedure before the screws are set. Advisable to cover engine area with tarp so as not to loose parts. If you buy this bug shield for F-150 you should replace the provided clips with more snuggly fitting ones. You can make the clips in amazon product B07Q1P2T87 work for this application.EGR should address this attachment issue by at least providing alternate snuggly fitting clips for F-150's. Then a higher rating would be justified.

Paired with Flat Black Low profile vent visors they look good on my 2016 Black F150.As mentioned by others the hardware for mounting isn't the best. I wound up replacing 4 of the 6 screws for mounting with better quality and rubber washers and regular washer's just to hold it on better. but the fit is perfect, and it looks great.

The bug shield looks an fits great on my 2018 Ford f150 King ranch. But the fittings that come with it are complete junk the don't fit the holes in my hood there way to short to even work. I had to use my own anchors so it made it not very easy to put together. Once I got it together. Looks great. The sellers need to put one of these together then they will understand the problem.

Looks and fits great. But I wish that an extra bag of hardware was provided (I would have been glad to pay extra for it ) the hardware is very small and can fall on the engine and the ground when installing it.If you have large hands put a blanket over the engine you will be glad you did.

...but I had no issues with this bug/hood deflector. Not sure if they did a redesign or what but it looks great on my 2018 F-150. Love the lower profile and that it doesn't require bumpers on the hood. I was going to install it myself but the dealership offered to do it for free...so I took them up on it. I asked if they had any issues and they said it was a pretty straightforward install. I did have to order 3 before I got one that wasn't damaged. I'm not blaming EGR for that. I opted to spend the extra $26 to get this through prime based on the reviews for the seller who was selling it for around $64 and if I needed to return it if it got damaged in transit. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have had EGR bug shields in the past so I figured I would put oneon my new 2016 F150. 15 minute job at tops, so I thought, I couldn'thave been anymore wrong. First of all the screws aren't long enoughand the white inserts are to small to properly seat in the holes createdwhen you pull out 4 plugs holding the weather moulding. I ended upsuper gluing the white inserts to hold them in place. Next came the realfun. working upside down, you must insert the undersized screws throughthe weather moulding, through the shield tab, and finally into the white insert. All the while making sure that the shield is centered on the hood. If you have aback that isn't in the best of condition, I would avoid this product. Poorly engineeredwithout regard to installation. On the plus side, it does look good and doesn't create a whistling sound at highway speed. If i had to do again, I would not have bought this product.
