I would give this product five stars but the 1st product was defective & replacement was slightly discolored near the center mounting hole (the acrylic doesn't appear to be stressed or cracked). JIS INC stood behind their product and gave me refund for the defective deflector. I give Jan & JIS INC 5 stars for their excellent and prompt handling of the defective deflector. I would definitely purchase a product from JIS INC again. I have a family member with the same car with this same hood deflector and used it since 2016. The family member's deflector is slightly faded from the Florida sun and have not had any issues with it. This is the 3rd EGR hood deflector I've purchased for 3 different vehicles over the years and have had a good experience with EGR so far.

The cost to quality ratio is well worth it. The installation was fairly simple. The fit for my Subaru Outback was very good. The hardware and the way it attached was ideal. It gives my vehicle a very nice finished look. The adhesive guards stuck quit well. Very happy with this product. Recommend.

This is pretty low and won’t stop bugs from smacking your windshield. It would have to be modified upward with larger bumpers to its job properly. Works well if I were to do that lol.

This is not a bug deflector. Totally flat, no upsweep at the back edge. At best it may be a hood protector. Does not keep any bugs off the windshield. Plus being very fidgety to install with many parts. Also looks like an add-on.

This one is not OEM part because it’s not available for 2015 and up models from Subaru but installation process is the same as for 2014 and earlier outback/legacy OEM part. Good fit and definitely refreshing look. One tip during the installation,put towel on top of the engine because if you drop by accident any of the clips/nuts/washers in to the engine say bye bye to them.
