This valve was installed on a 2000 Chevrolet Express with the 5.7l engine. The old EGR valve had failed and was causing emission codes and engine performance issues. This new valve fit perfectly and was easy to install​, exactly like the original equipment. The materials, fit and finish all seem to be good. I used a new OEM style gasket instead of the thin steel gasket (minus one star) included with the EGR valve. With about 500 miles on the repaired engine, this EGR valve is performing as it should. This valve is a good value... when compared to the available options at the local parts stores the cost is much less. Even if you have to purchase a new OEM style gasket.

OEM fit on my 2002 Chev Silverado. Was having fuel system problems so i replaced this when i replaced my fuel pump and PCR valve. No more rough idle and it only took 5 minutes to swap this EGR.
