Outstanding mount. Tried to go the cheap road with a Monstrum and one of the screws wouldn’t tighten in the receiver. Put in a return and ordered the EGW with next day delivery. The base showed up, went on perfect, and everything tightened up to the specified torque settings (which are in the product card in the packaging; thank you EGW). Finally, it came with the T-10 bit for the screws (thanks again EGW) and best of all it’s made in the USA. Should have saved myself the time and hassle and paid the extra bucks to begin with for a quality product, but it’s all good in the end.

There is not enough room under the cantilever for the stock sight. Barrel will not fully rotate to lock on stockSad day.

It seems to be a well made part and came with everything needed to install. I only took away the one star because it was not made clear that this rail is machined to move your optics forward. Being the spacing of the holes are different on the front and rear it can not be placed the other way, which is what I needed to bring a NV scope back for better eye relief.

EGW products are always well made and simple to install. Swapped out an EGW 20MOA to the 0MOA. which was easy and had the same length so the scope mounted basically in the same slots. Shipping for this product was fast and easy.

This base is of high quality. The machining is great. Just don't over torque and you'll be fine. I didn't bother with loc-tite and it hasn't budged a bit. As it extends the rail forward, it allows you to get that extra eye-relief. I mounted a red dot more forward for quick target acquisition.

EGW is by far the best scope base value on the market! it is worth spending a little more than the Chinese bases and getting great quality and not having to worry about ruining screws etc and its great that they even include the correct torx bit to install along with good instructions.
